Dr. Myrna B. Libutaque won the Natatanging Guro Award for the Math and Computer Science category granted by the PSHS Foundation last September 5, 2014. 

The  Natatanging Guro (NG) Award is given to an outstanding teacher in the Philippine Science High School System from each of the following three clusters: Mathematics and Computer Science; Natural Sciences; and  Humanities and Social Science.

The Science and Technology Information Institute of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-STII) has developed a digital library that can permanently store information and materials and be updated regularly.

The Science and Technology Academic and Research-Based Openly Operated Kiosk Stations, or STARBOOKS, are one-stop repositories for science and technology and livelihood information.

Johanna Marie L. Apdon, a grade 7 student of PSHS Western Visayas Campus got the Grand Prix Award in the recently concluded MITSUBISHI ASIAN CHILDREN'S ENIKKI FESTA 2012-2013. Johanna Marie L. Apdon together with other filipino awardees represented the Philippines.  A total of 24 countries and region in Asia participated in the Festa and 70,899 Enikki in total was collected. The Awarding Ceremony was held in Kobe International Conference Center, Kobe, Japan last August 1, 2013.
